Oh How Time Flies

I can't believe that it has already been 8 months!! Addie is growing like the most precious of little weeds. Just in the last month she has started crawling, or squirming should I say. She has this army crawl that she does like she is in combat or something. Some would say that she is not, because she is not doing the stereotypical hands and knees crawl, but she gets around. She is a fast little booger too. Last week alone she sat up on her own, started pulling up on things, and mastered getting over this ledge that we have that separates our den from our dining room. She has 4 teeth now, 2 of which just showed up last week only a day apart from each other. What a week of Thanksgivings. We tried out table food because she is picking up and eating these little crunchies like a champ, but that didn't work out too well. She picked up the green beans and put them in her mouth but I think it was the taste that made her spit them out. Oh well there is always next time. She loves her bath time too, she has always loved taking baths, but lately she figured out how much fun it really is to splash, an boy does she!! Last night I was soaked, after that I usually have to change clothes too.

She is becoming very interactive, she will talk and squeal like it's no body's business. She likes to stick her tongue out and make the airplane sound that I do when feeding her dinner. Also just this week she started doing the Indian call, she really likes that, she gets so excited over it, she even picks up my hand and pulls it to her mouth so that i will pat her lips for her. lol, she is such a goober!!

Yesterday was Black Friday and as like every year we were up at 2 to get the best deals of the season, so when we got home we were wrapping up the gifts we got, and she was right with us trying to help. Well she was un-wrapping as we were wrapping, but it was the sweetest thing! I think she will be good and ready to tear into some gifts in a few weeks. I can't wait and as good as she has been there is no doubt that Santa is gonna be just thrilled to stack under our tree so many wonderful things for her to learn and grow with!!

Just a little update on the rest of us, Chris is in his next to last semester of school, Praise the Lord!! I think that he is just doing wonderfully he is so smart, I can only hope that Addie got his brains. He is so amazing, working and going to school full time, as well as being the world's greatest Daddy and Husband, it's got to be a hard job to hold but he does it with stride.

I was transferred again, only this time I had prior knowledge of the move. Also the branch I went to had been requesting me, unlike last time when they just did a location shift. I couldn't be happier where I am at now, my co-workers are awesome, my new boss could just possibly be the best I have ever had. I really look forward to each day that God gives me to be able to go back.

Mama and Addie are just having the time of their lives together. They do all kinds of things together, I really think that it helps Addie grow being with Mama everyday. She teaches her things and is able to give her her full un-divided attention. I hope that it helps Mama being with Addie all day too, she seems to be very happy being here. Allison says that if she didn't know better she would think that Mama was a new mother herself. Every day Mama will call Alli and say "Guess what Addie Mae did today!!!" She is so proud. I am proud too, I really have the best mother ever!!!! I really don't know what I would do without her.

We are so blessed to have all that we do and to be able to do all that we can.
