Wow it has been, as the youngins' would say, a hot minute since I have been in here. First let me say thanks to you all for being so faithful and patient with me while I get with the program. More to come soon, I promise but for now I just wanted to share some super cuteness...
Scene: Mommy and Cara sitting on the couch together, Addie in the chair as Daddy walks in the door from work.
Daddy: Hey girls, whatcha doin'?
Cara: (as she holds up her sippy cup of juice) dinks!(drink)
Daddy: You got a drink, whatcha drinkin'?
Cara:(without skipping a beat) Toffee!(Coffee)
Scene: In the dentist's office while waiting for the dentist, Addie is talking to the hygienist. The hygienist notices Addie's BIG SISTER shirt and comments on it.
Hygienist: Do you like being a big sister?
To which Addie responds;
Addie: Yes! except I don't like it when Sparky takes my toys because he takes them and I can't play with them. ( I, getting ready to inform her of Sparky's actual existence, she proceeds without taking a breath) Um, Sparky is my imagination dog.
Then she hops back to her seat and continues reading her book.
